Mediatek announced the premium tier soc on Sep3,2020 . Dimensity 1000c supports 5G wireless technology.
Details:
  1. This chip was built using 7nm node so soc will be more power efficient.
  2. CPU is designed with 4 core ARM A77 and 4 core ARM A55 (2 GHz Max).
  3. GPU is has 5 cores.
  4. They have Updated the AI processing Unit to 3rd GEN so we can expect 4x faster AI operation when compare to previous gen soc.
Supports:
  1. Dual Display.
  2. 12 GB RAM (Max) DDR4x 1866MHz
  3. UFS 2.2 storage.
  4. AV1 / Audio video hardware decoding is possible in the chip. SDR to HDR playback is possible on this chip.
  5. 120Hz Display.

    Download Speed: 2.3Gbps / upload speed : 1.2Gbps.

    G95 Mide range Game Centric Chip.

    1. This chip is officially announced on Sep 1 ,2020. This Soc is update to G690T chip.
    2. CPU is built using 2 A76 ARM core and 6 A55 ARM core. This Cpu Clock upto to 2.05Ghz frequency.
    3. Max Ram support : 10GB same as predecessor(G90T).
    4. It has 4 core GPU clocked at 900MHz.
    5. Supports 64MP Camera.
    6. It has support to H.264/265 while they didn’t added the AV1 decoder to this chip.

Apple A14 Bionic Chip

Apple updated their SOC line up with the A14 bionic chip. Apple said CPU performance of the chip is 40% faster than the previous Gen and GPU Performance raised to 30% faster than the previous chip.
One of the main feature of the chip is size of transistor. This chip built using 5nm Tsmc fabrication , this will make chip more efficient . Due tiny size of transistor they have added 11.8 billion transistors to the chip.
This chip was designed as previous gen architecture style . The CPU is Hexa core 2 large cores and 4 power efficient core . Custom apple GPU is having 4 cores .
Apple has updated the Neural Engine to 16 core , so chip is capable of doing 11 billion operation/sec . They have updated the CPU machine learning accelerators to Gen2 so machine learning calculation will be 10 times faster then the previous gen Chip.
note: while publishing this article Apple is not announced the clock frequency of the CPU and GPU.

Nvidia New Graphics Card

Last week Nvidia announced three major graphics card . RTX 3070, 3080, 3090.
Spec : RTX 3070 : Gpu core  : Cuda core = 5888 and base frequency 1.50GHz / Boost clock 1.73 GHz Memory : 8GB Ram GDDR6
RTX 3080 : Gpu core  : Cuda core = 8704 and base frequency 1.44GHz Memory : 10GB Ram GDDR6
RTX 3090 : Gpu core  : Cuda core = 10496 and base frequency 1.40GHz / Boost clock 1.70 GHz Memory : 24GB Ram GDDR6
Note :
CUDA  – Compute Unified Device Architecture
These cores are developed by the Nvidia for  parallel computing .
why we need 10496 cores for GPU , while modern CPU has 8/16/32 cores is enough for computing? During the graphics intensive work the computer need to work on complex calculation simultaneously so these huge core in graphics card will resolve the problems in parallel.  compare to Intel or AMD Cpu architecture CUDA core are designed smaller. 
  1. Both RTX 3080,3090 has  28 billion transistors . while 3070 was built by 17.4 transistors.
  2. All the RTX models  are built by  samsung 8nm node
  3. Nvidia also stated that   RTX 3090 will gives the 2x perfomance  when compare to RTX2070 GPU
  4. First Gpu that supports HDMI 2.1 .
  5. All the latest GPU  Support 8k monitor and we can connect upto 4 monitor.
  6. These GPU supports 3 gen  Tensor cores so AI execution will be 2 x faster compare to previous gen processors.

Twitter going to show the labels for Government and State affiliated Accounts. On Aug 6 ,2020 Twitter official blog stated that they are going to implement the New Labels for USA, China, UK, Russia,France ( UN Security Council Countries) Government and State affiliated Account.
The Label shows the official account name of the government organisation with country name or state name.
This New label will particularly shows for ,

  2. Foreign ministers.
  3. Country ambassadors.

Sentinel-1 Satellite Maps the Earth Quake from the Space

On Jun 23,2020 a 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake hits the Oaxaca, Mexico. Due this Earthquake people are evacuated and Tsunami warning is triggered across the region.
While currently we did not have model to predict the Earthquake, using the satellite we can study the impact caused by earthquake and movement of the land. Currently Esa Satellite Sentinel 1 is used to observe the earth quake and volcanic eruption.
During the current earth quake with the help of Sential 1 Scientist combined the images of previous and after earth quake images while this images are taken different dates. using this image scientist found the interference pattern this named as interferogram this will clearly show how much the surface is actually displaced from the previous position. During this earthquake the surface is displaced about 0.45m in the epicenter (La Crucecita ).
This type of information will help the scientists to understand more about the Earth Quakes. This displacement is measured from east to west.

Qualcomm VVC

Qualcomm completed the new video compression technique named as Versatile Video Coding(VVC). According to Qualcomm this compression is 40% efficient than HEVC(H.265).So 40% file size will be reduced with same video quality, also it will reduce the raw data file to 1000x smaller file. This will be available from 2021. This will be expected to be widely adopted after 2021 in most of the streaming service.

Intel:

On July 8 Intel released the new Thunderbolt 4 port . company mention that is can also support to Thunderbold 3. Speed similar as Thunderbolt 3, 40 Gbps. while it can support two 4k display or one 8k Display.
Android 10 OS in mobile reaches 100 million phones in 5 Months, Fastest adoption rate compare to previous OS Update to the Android Mobiles.
Dell released XPS13 and XPS 15 models in India with 10 Gen intel processor. spec ranges from i3 to i7 10 Gen processor.

Spacex Successfully launched Human Spaceflight

SpaceX launched its First Human flight from USA to International Space Station on May 30,2020

Previously on Saturday at 3.22pm EDT  Falcon 9 launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Doug Hurley and  Bob Behnken are two Astronaut are onBoard on Dargon capsule they are lifted to Low Earth Orbit of Earth , all happen in just 12 minutes from the launch time.while Falcon 9 consists of two stage rocket first one is reusable and it is landed back to Earth.Finally astronauts are Reached the ISS after 19 hours of Chasing the ISS. While on Board both astronauts have a option to choose the name to capsule they opted shuttle name Endeavour. Currently there are 5 astronauts on Board in ISS.
